The Daihatsu Tanto was first introduced at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show as a concept car, it was based on the Daihatsu Move. The Tanto has a tall body. It was finally released into the Japanese market in late 2003.

It is remarkable spacious inside with plenty of storage room. A bit of a TARDIS really (without the time travel capability) and very cute.

This Tanto has only travelled 62,300 miles from new. It also benefits from a recent cambelt change at 84,000 kilometers.

The Tanto is known as a Kei car. It has a sliding door on the passenger side rear door. It is very economical with a range of up to 80 miles per gallon.
