The aptly named Toyota Noah is a spacious 8-seater on the inside but not as bulky as the Nissan Elgrand or the Mazda Bongo. It drives just like a regular 4-door, 5-seater car, albeit with the seating position slightly higher off the ground. This enables the Japanese engineers to hide a lot of the engineering under the car. The benefit of this is two-fold: First, the bonnet is short making it easier to manoeuvre in cramped spaces. Second, with the foot operated parking brake and the automatic gear stick in the dashboard there is extra floor space for baggage etc.

The drive in the Noah is very smooth, even with a full contingent of passengers. Even with the rear seats in position there is decent boot space but once folded out of the way, storage capacity increases dramatically.

At Seven Seas we really like the Noah. We like the shallow angle of the windscreen and the way the boot tilts in slightly at the top. We like the split rear light cluster and the enormous headlights. We like the body kit and the unusual front grill. We are Noah-natics!
